hello, new linux , have been experimenting edubuntu , ltsp in school network environment. installed latest release of edubuntu ltsp preinstalled, use existing dhcp svr instead of ltsp box's dhcp svc. uninstalled dhcp service ... sudo apt-get remove dhcp3-server network adapter eth0 not grabbing ip existing dhcp svr. im not sure go configure network interface. additional steps need take tgo ltsp svr work single net card using dhcp server in vlan? i've been premiere user 8 years now, because of reticence have train on system. must adobe engineers have been helpful , willing assist on every problem i've encountered. handful of problems dealt incompatibilities , failures of cineform software, have since abandoned. don't want add hours of hard work unreliability has cost me, on phone tech support or posting messages these. it's large number though, i'm sure.   but if make transition smoothly, would, frankly. i'm astonished if manage single day without premiere crashing @ least 4 times. has been true since day one, across multiple machines, on different systems, mac , pc.   sigsev, bad access, kernel panic, sorry error occurred, attempt save current project. these , similar phrases have become lexicon. remain premiere user solely because there handful of features not present on other systems make job easier, despite instability.   am unlucky? have others had similar experience?   this post effluvium of losing

hi everyone,   i have been using microsoft word 2010 , acrobat many years.   i have word document (a user manual) images i've pasted ms paint. add arrows , call-outs.   i save word document save adobe pdf option.   the resultant pdf great images in front of arrows , call-outs.   but when use save option , choose pdf type (of file format), works fine: images in back of arrows , call-outs.   it seems bug in save adobe pdf function. or user error?   thanks. it issue processing ms does. have tried print adobe pdf printer? not have links in case, result different , might give idea of problem is. hi there, is possible flash run on graphics card? i can't play online flash videos youtube @ high res maxes out puny processor, fps drops around 2.   a buffered flash video @ full screen run it's not great.   i running windows 7 home premium sp1, nvidia ion gpu , intel atom 1.6 quad core processor, 3gb ram , using chrome v23. reinstalled windows - it's in basic operation , no unnecessary programs running or installed, programs , components date.   other things i've tried improve situation: versions of flash tried: 10.1, 10.2, 10.3, 11.5(current) , 11.6 (beta) clean installs each time. antivirus avast - tried disabling. tried internet explorer - can try again if required disabled flash hardware acceleration, cleared caches etc run 1080p @ full screen , windowed tried other video player - vlc runs @ 1080p   any hugely appreciated - i've tried include relevant info can speed things up.   thanks, andrew More discussions in Using Flash Player adobe

hi   i have datagrid 1100 wide/   i've set right_click listener on it, , tracing x/y coords localx , localy.   clicking @ x=0 traces x @ being zero, if click right on datagrid, around x= 1100 mark, traces x being around 280.  , clicking halfway traces x @ 140 (it should around 550).   same sort of thing happening on y axis.   what indication of doing wrong?   cheers guys. show code. i installed ubuntu first time on old computer have laying around. when choose suspend gnome power menu, appears suspend correctly, except when resume find have been logged out. os fresh install of ubuntu 11.04 32 bit; change i've made adding rt3562sta driver wireless net card (but checked , problem module disabled). computer pentium 4 desktop first built 7 years ago. abit ic7 motherboard (intel 875 chipset), nvidia 7800gs gpu. appreciated. i think not logout , when going place suspend , resume going ask password user desktop . hey, guys.   i'm running cs4 , starting consider upgrade options editing environment. quite time ago (it before fcp 10) remember seeing , forth fcp vs premiere. 1 of things mentioned claim premiere didn't handle large projects (e.g. 90 minute feature film) well. this, of course, fcp guy. cs4 latest , greatest @ time. cs6 couple of major revs down line , running on 64 bit architecture may not case (i can't certainty ever was, repeating i've read).   are of editing films of length in cs6 , if so, how's working you? i finished 3 hour project (plus dvd extras) without problems.   pp has never had issue larger projects, @ least not on pc side.  if did have problems, local issues, not overall issues experience.
