hey all. started on dreamweaver , i'm having trouble background. made myself in adobe program , saved in jpg, tif , psd. image 4000 x 4000 px. dw doesn't tif , doesn't accept it. now, psd , jpegs, takes them , makes them background zooms in rediculously , bloats image.   thanks browsers have no ability read photoshop .psd file, should using .jpg, .gif , .png best cross-browser rendering.   also, 4000 x 4000 pixels huge webpage. should never more 2000 pixels in either direction , large image online purposes. background image on 200kb large. take 1 minute single file download on 56k modem.   to optimize image in photoshop, open image , hit ctrl + shift + alt (or command) + s save web.   click 2-up tab , take @ file size , speed of download image. can click bottom image in 2-up , move quality slider higher or lower quality. affect file size , load time. choose lowest quality setting doesn't make image degrade far , click save.   edit: dw isn't zooming in @ all, displ

hi, i have moved akeeba backup test folder under public_html folder(public_htm/test_copy). have created database , user , assigned user database. using kickstart.php, have restored entire site test folder. once site installed in test folder, have upgraded 3.4.1. upgradation successful problem administrator view looks still 2.5. not find many options. to make clear let me explain case: for example, options in global configuration page should come in left frame( refer first screenshot in attachment doc, taken other website). in case, appearing differently. page looks 2.5 version though on 3.4.1. i have following situation: - ubuntu server 11.04 running samba , ssh server b - windows 7 sp1 client can make samba connection through ssh tunnel on internet b a. used this method using microsoft loopback device. problem is, transfer speed way low. averages @ 150 kb/s. other connections, nntp, run @ 1,5 mb/s through tunnel. far know smb encrypts handshake, don't think it's due overhead of connection. causing low transfer speed? up/download speed of both connections sufficient. checked cpu usage, , doesn't seem problem well.
