hello all, looks spider, crawler, robots same many says both terms different. had searched many forums, posts didn't exact answer. tell me this.... consider , work on suggestion given you.. spider , crawler technically same, except spider used tool used crawl website, while crawler used search engines (also crawling website). i think mean "robot" , not "robots" (which text file instructing search engines index , not index), , "robot" means technically crawler or spider crawling website (such googlebot, bingbot, other tool/search engine). robot can mean spider or crawler. of course, others may terms equivalent, , that's ok, because definitions subjective. ok guys, have strange 1 you. friend has old, pos dell "slim desktop" we're trying install ubuntu on. keyboard (whether use usb keyboard or ps2 keyboard) not become enabled until after os starts boot (read: can't bios. can't change boot order. can't select boot device use). so, trying install ubuntu 10.04 live cd (luckily, cd drive first in boot order). cd drive barely works, able boot desktop environment after effort. once there, can browse net, etc without trouble. trouble comes when trying install: fails halfway through, due "disk errors" (even though live cd verified , has been used install ubuntu on other computers). in other words, cd drive not in enough health way through installation. question is: can boot desktop environment livecd, insert usb stick , install ubuntu stick? once in desktop environment, computer read usb stick. don't know how kick off installation usb stick when didn't boot it. ideas?

i editing short avi clip converted 1959 8mm film in timeline.  telecine conversion results in sharp image have manged using ppro 5.5 unsharp mask.  tried mocha planar tracking automatically remove fixed spider web on top edge of each frame in clip.   because web not distinct , background not progress @ steady fixed pace, mocha procedure not successful.  previous feedback recommended methods mask edge.  using various masking attempts automate procedure unsuccessful same reasons mocha.   i have time , decided replace spider web on each frame edge using photoshop tools e.g. clone stamp etc. - although other tools such healing brush not appear work in timeline expect.  saves far have resulted in whole clip being saved following frames being modified similar first edited frame.  perhaps i not using editing procedures in photoshop timeline correctly.   how save frame frame in timeline? have tried file > import > video frames layers , editing resulting layers individually? i have latest update of photoshop 6 , of lightroom 4 (4.3) used able open photo within lr4 photoshop , after saving ps picture appeared next lr original. not happen anymore , have no idea if introduced lr4.3 or latest ps6 update. photoshop _does_ save picture in right location on disk, _not_  appear in lightroom. photoshop "creates" "new" directory in lightroom catalog (which in fact right one) there no relation between original file , 1 saved ps. does know what's going on here?   as understand reply in ps discussiob group issue caused lightroom. plugins nik software create new files (after processing) part of lr catalog. it's open in photoshop not supposed do. , yes, save file , not nistake "save as.." hi... our site has been running fine in joomla 3.x following upgrade 2 few months ago decided enable ldap authentication doing across board. entered our ldap settings jmmldap config page per instructions, logged out test , unable log in. putting in ldap user results in getting returned backend login page message: unable bind. the bigger issue having can not login using existing administrator accounts in joomla access backend, trying use these accounts eg. root returns login page bind error. how gain access backend using existing users not part of ldap can check ldap configuration settings in jmmldap? appreciate assistance! cheers i'm having same issue. have been contacted fix yet?
