Thread: Boot from Virtual Hard Drive

hi there,

wondering if there out there ubuntu allows boot virtual hd main os. hyper-v , vboot? hyper-v windows know vboot based off virtual box can't find instructions installing on ubuntu.

reason run alot of virtual machines i'm contractor (so vm each contract keep each companies ipr seperate).

don't want dual boot want able create base vm image (updated windows os, visual studio etc) can add on ever want (sharepoint, dynamics etc) ever work i'm doing.

work i'm asked requires me use unity3d need run windows going properly. means vm use full power of machine need run natively. means bootable vm main os can swap , change (which vboot does) or dual boot (which don't want reasons above).

ideas?

that cool. never knew 1 that. here's article on virtual box: http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?t=9697

best of luck.
