so running 10.10 dual head nvidia graphics card , worked without hitch, work reasons had start using ms windows, fast forward 6 months , decided install ubuntu again, upgraded 11.04 works fine until install nvidia drivers. once installed still works, until enable second screen, there after, when boot gui no tool bar, wall paper, right clicked mouse see if options, got expect, except options flashed on screen. hit control alt delete , option shutdown, restart etc came flashes on , off, appearing half second @ time, if quick can click on shut down , try again, each reboot brings same screen. rolled 10.10 thinking sovle problem same thing happens, despite fact used work flawlessly 6 months ago. have tried installing drivers synaptic instead, have tried deleting nvidia drivers in safe mode (safe mode seems work fine) stopped screens working @ all. have heard there problems nvidia dual head drivers, can find no thread problem, please help!

here's 1 . . .  received customer's indesign file , dragged email desktop.  opened fonts needed (all open type fonts) opened document on desktop.  file opens fine.  dragged same file our file server (without resaving or anything) , tried opening file.  gave me missing fonts dialog.  it's acting it's not recognizing open type font.  says "garamond (otf): default font substituted missing font."  so, opened same file on desktop again.  no problem.  resaved file , dragged server again.  opened file on server.  missing fonts.  if tell "find font,"  garamond regular, bold , italic shows in font list missing font.  i've cleared font caches, trashed indesign prefs . . ..   running indesign cs6 (8.0.1) on imac running os x 10.6.8.  idea causing this?  in advance!! is there folder on desktop named document fonts came file?   cs5 , later have feature called document installed fonts in when id packages file puts required fonts document fonts folder. long f

hi   we have cf9 latest updates running on win2k3 server  under apache 2.2.22 , jrun4 years. now, wanted upgrade cf10.   i first updated apache 2.2.23 ssl 1.0.1c   for reassurance, disabled jrun cf9 services seen in task manager.   then installed cf10. installer mentioend different  net ports. accepted them.   install continued without problem, cf10 setup , configured it. ran our main ap worked fine.   then, after few hours while checking health of it, figured that  coldfusion.exe takes cpu time.   server response  still there sluggish.i have not seen reason why cpu usage increases.   i have kill coldfusion.exe cut cpu load. however, few minutes after (about 10-20 minutes) coldfusion.exe again begins climb up. takes 5-10 minutes hit 100% ...   i have no idea how deal (except going cf9)   on developer cf10 (same config) have not seen behavior. howewer, server not exposed net, productive 1 ... there might deep links pointing somewhere ... however, our server not busy server, should not

i took on "webmaster" our tiny nonprofit. have no idea i'm doing joomla. know if edit text corresponds boxes of text on website, text on website changes. several things, has worked fine. them, there thing in article manager same title on website. click on , edit it, or delete it, or whatever. dandy. however, there 3 "blocks" of text on front page not have corresponding "articles." surely there must way create, delete, , edit these things. not, apparently, articles. don't know are. what missing? how edit these things? trick? baffled. just know, went in , deleted every article not using. there 7 things left. none of them contain text in mystery blocks. omg "modules"! thanks help! i'll shortly question. webinstallatie duurt heeeeeeeeel lang, soms zelfs tot 2 uren lang. ik heb al verschillende keren opnieuw begonnen wil dus zeggen alles opnieuw geinstalleerd - nieuwe databank naam in xampp - nieuwe map - en etc... maar niets helpt, ik werk wel offline wil dus zeggen joomla installeren op de pc niet online. ik gebruik wel wordpress online. ondertussen dat ik hier dit bericht doe, ben ik nog eens aan het proberen maar installeren duurt heel lang in databasetabellen aan maken. wat moet ik doen aub. mvg, heb je geprobeerd om een backup van de lokale joomla installatie te maken (bijv met akeeba backup) en die op de server te restoren (met akeeba's kickstart.php) ?
