Thread: Nvidia Dual Head problems on 11.04, and 10.10

so running 10.10 dual head nvidia graphics card , worked without hitch, work reasons had start using ms windows, fast forward 6 months , decided install ubuntu again, upgraded 11.04 works fine until install nvidia drivers.

once installed still works, until enable second screen, there after, when boot gui no tool bar, wall paper, right clicked mouse see if options, got expect, except options flashed on screen. hit control alt delete , option shutdown, restart etc came flashes on , off, appearing half second @ time, if quick can click on shut down , try again, each reboot brings same screen.

rolled 10.10 thinking sovle problem same thing happens, despite fact used work flawlessly 6 months ago.

have tried installing drivers synaptic instead, have tried deleting nvidia drivers in safe mode (safe mode seems work fine) stopped screens working @ all.

have heard there problems nvidia dual head drivers, can find no thread problem, please help!

still having same problem, tried whole process again end same problem (strangely enough).

please if can me apreciated.
