well start beginning. while started using linux, , dual booting machine ubuntu , xp. have built new machine more powerful, have xp on want go linux. have found ways run ever program use on ubuntu, having issue graphic cards. hi, issue: on new joomla install, seem have issue on sites , not others , don't know causing it. not appear specific server have used on different servers different configurations. what's happening: basically, when clicking on "check updates" under extension manager, when "accredited language translations" update site enabled, system sits there forever @ "waiting..." , nothing happens. no errors appear in logs. doesn't past point check errors. since that's third site in update_sites table, never makes past point (last checked datestamp never set). happens on new joomla install without configuring anything. when single update_site disabled, checks updates fine, , works expected. i don't have language plugins enabled, if still causes same issue. default i've started disabling update site. i'm disturbed because don't know causing there seem no helpful information logged joomla error logs anywhere no matter level of error loggin

flash player working on google chrome, whenever use ie access site uses flash, ie tells me not have flash , asks me if want install it. if choose yes, ie try download flash player, , when finishes downloading, tells me ie has latest version of flash player included. when go adobe.com, version check box grey. however, interestingly enough, if go youtube home page, error message comes on page saying need download flash player, if click on video, go page, error message show second dissappears, , video start playing.   i followed self check procedure described on adobe site already, , checks out. wasn't able find solution or same kinda problem through google either.   any 1 got ideas? here faq windows8 issue: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1091501?tstart=0   is ie10 problem desktop mode or modern (metro)? hey folks, i'm traveling @ moment , last week laptop fell down , hard drive crashed had access windows pc (but no longer) , managed install xubuntu live version on usb stick able use computer , access internet now. it's first time using linux distribution , works fine me! problem whenever install skype example, it's gone after reboot. googled , found out searching "persistent xubuntu version" (on usb device). tried advices found on internet none of them worked me. there easy way make xubuntu version using persistent? sure there plenty of solutions out there , if had access windows pc create new installation don't i'd apprechiate help, thanks!! ben sorry unless have nearby linux or windows pc can't anything. keep copy of skype.deb on usb don't have redownload it. hi everyone.   as company transitioning indesign our documents. have been driving force behind , have gigabites of terribly organised data. no on place.   quite crew want properaly strucured folder of date used links files.   i have been organising new set of template files , works great,. have lots of useful legacy stuff own link folders.   i want put thos links in newley created folder of relevant folders, example food images folder folder, flower images flower folder.   of course indesign files have lost links, can relink first level of folder , check in other folders? theproblem me don't think once hits companies dirves links ork intended.   i guess asking work flow, turning more of mare thought! instead of moving links, use copy links folder command in links panel menu make copies of existing links in new locations , relink new copies. can delete old ones if like. Добрый день! Нашла на свою голову сеошника, уговорил уйти с аренды на "джумлу" купил шаблон, сам устанавливал пароли. итд. Работа не доделана, все кое как и через пень колоду. Проблема в том что систему эту не знаю совсем, не настроены системы оплаты, выгрузка товара итд, вообщем нужна доработка магазина. С человеком распрощались но пароли то его остались, как их сменить? и В дальнейшем как менять или делать ограничение на допуск, для программистов такого рода.
