hi, hope can me out. i've had travel site ( www.portugaltravelguide.com ) , running on year , everything's been running smoothly until yesterday when upgraded latest version of joomla. now home-page running slow, taking 40 seconds appear. i don't have same problem moving page page within site, however. it's home-page seems affected. the hosting company assures me it's not server , after checking database noticed there quite lot of queries, don't know how fix them. this happened because upgraded latest version of joomla. can suggest quick fix? thought downgrading previous version of joomla. thanks in advance help. mark probably 3.party module. your site loads both mootools , jquery libraries. can cause conflict. rid of mootools. it's no longer used joomla core. hi there, i'm finishing first bc website , have set user login client. have chosen of permissions want them have access (eg modules not being used don't want overwhelm them items not relevant).    the thing cannot work out how disable 2 items login/admin area:   'url redirects' under 'site manager' section. i created file combining number of images panorama. expected, panorama picked iptc metadata 1 of source images, , saved resulting file.   if had saved file psd or tiff, use bridge or lightroom change iptc metadata after saving file. lightroom doesn't read psb files, , bridge won't let me change of metadata (the metadata appears read-only).   the way figure out change metadata use exiftool. seems strange third-party tool required make rather simple changes (i believe) proprietary file format of adobe. or missing something?   thx advice you might better response in bridge forum... http://forums.adobe.com/community/bridge/general?view=discussions   one thought...   what size have got in bridge :- preferences - thumbnails - not process files larger than:   maybe file larger above? huhu, welchen webhosting anbieter könnt ihr für joomla empfehlen? es geht um die webseite füpr eine ferienanlage. moderater traffic und besucher aber sollte genug leistung für ein buchungssystem bieten. danke und grüße! schau doch mal im webhostingforum nach. hier gabs erst kürzlich die selbe frage und auch ein paar passende vorschläge dazu. ich denke die pakete wären für den genannten zweck auch völlig ausreichend. ein server muss es bestimmt nicht gleich sein, da ist ein shared hosting schon die beste und preisgünstigste löung. hej, i vanliga fall är jag rätt bra på det där med att klura ut hur saker och ting fungerar, men denna gången handlar det om medlemsavgifter. när det handlar om andras pengar vill jag att det ska funka till 100% från start. uppgift i och med senaste versionen av payplan så installeras/uppgraderas inte plugins per automatik, utan det ska man göra själv. jag vill ha hjälp med är att installera/aktivera plugins för: - medlemskap ska betalas via paypal. - betalt medlemskap ska gälla för jomsocial, att göra inlägg kunena, att skriva easyblog. allt annat på sajten ska vara åtkomligt utan medlemskap (alltså även att läsa kunena och easyblog). - medlemsregistrering ska ske via jomsocials formulär. jag har både jomsocial och payplan, och ovanstående har fungerat tidigare. så inställningarna är redan på plats, det gäller "bara" att se till att de nya plugins till payplan funkar som de ska. förväntningar av leverantören kort och gott: du ska veta vad du gör. tidsplan och förväntad arbet

is me or xfce kinda hard? played xfce (xubuntu 11.04) 30 min today , managed bugbit several times. tab completion in bash ctrl-f4 doesn't work in firefox (now know ctrl-w) managed corrupt xfce panels (any way restore corrupted panel?) (i had doubleclicking problem fixed that!) , haven't tried installing software! still i'm gonna stay xubuntu. i'm addicted responsive speed! xfce saved me nightmare kde , gnome is. patient , try it. hi, use natty on toshiba satellite l505-10n. have 2 problems may or not related. first 1 overheating of computer, no activity. fan running. saw on many topics, problem might due dust in fan. computer on 1 year old , used everyday. second problem comes after 10 minutes 1 hour. simultaneously, both sound (playing amarok or vlc through pulseaudio , jack) , wifi start malfunction. sound blocks every ~15 secs ~1 sec. wifi speed drops 0b/s or close , loose connection. far, rebooting computer solution. these 2 problem might not related sound/wifi problem occurs before computer gets hot. attention, , sorry if problem have been treated before. kai. ... up.
