Out of Memory observation/solution?

[assuming latest greatest cs6 , system, okay maybe 1 limited 4gb ram]

 

well if have nested whatever [720p 30fps] previewed (generic , standardized in example png sequence), , apply various effect layers (auto contrast, auto levels, alias, sharpen, dark/shadow, , hey maybe want more basic start image enhancement), it's apparently lot of processing needs done agreed (cuda/gpu? please).

 

anyway here's observation dev team ponder.

on win7 looking @ process resource monitor commit memory, seems leaking out of control it's no wonder run out of ram , says "close programs".

 

temporary suggestions.

delete effects!? though.

you can slice nested piece many (and mean many) pieces , preview each 1 green bar. [possible needing various saves , restarts of application]

alternatively can system [requires reboot] set manual paging astronomical values handle massive memory leak.

any other suggestions i'm missing here?

 

okay situation programmatically speaking seems me each frame gets processed , frames ram reusable or should freed after writing disk. maybe if have contiguous clips in should broken pieces when paging begins. not being handled , it's pretty obvious... me.

frankly whole idea of green bar working in large pieces seems off me. it's know when parts need rebuilding it's not write suck ram until last bytes computed , still not release next preview or other applications on system.

pffft!  adobe doesn't 'promptly'.  you're better off upgrading 12 or 16 gb ram.
