hi let me start of saying hello first post 2nd time using ubuntu dist on 1 of laptops first time didnt turn out on (dell xps) because didnt , couldnt find wifi support 2nd time around ( alienware m15x) worked great out of box wifi support , everything trying install alien can convert rpm files lockkstarr@ubuntu:~$ sudo apt-get install alien reading package lists... done building dependency tree reading state information... done e: unable locate package alien i've looked on several forums , tried different methods , decided make account become member , learn through guys , bring problem experts guys input amazing unless you've converted these .rpm files before , confirmed resulting .deb files work -- should not using alien. convering .rpm files real hit-and-miss proposition. files work, many not. it's better hunt around .deb files, or compile source.

i in process of moving j2.5 install 3.3.x. followed tutorial migration available here on localhost install (mamp), , seemed work great! removed/disabled unused extensions/plugins clean out years of cruft have accumulated before upgrading, , when finished upgrade, had seemed functional 3.3.6 install. next day, decided log onto administrator side again, discovered none of admin accounts log on. receive "username/password match" error. searched way log on successfully, , discovered trick of adding $root_user configuration.php file, did allow me log on. tried resetting passwords on admin access accounts, created new super user account, everytime tried log on using accounts, username/password fail. as further test, made local install of current 2.5.8 site, , did clean steps prior upgrade...and saw same issue, in cleanup has caused these super user accounts lose ability log onto admin side of things. i *very careful* make sure did not delete authored "joomla! project." we

hi, installed natty on computer. on of first things made sure install necessary run encrypted dvds on computer. long story short, able encrypted dvds work on totem movie player, vlc messed up. can't navigate on dvd menus properly, , whenever play anything, can't select menu top. yesterday, purchased , installed flashbuilder 4.7, 64 bit windows version.   with it, built project ios, , installed export release (air3.4 ios) on ipad 1 testing.   two "unforgivable" problems showed up:   1. of artwork looks utterly spoiled, if entirely different filter coefficients were being applied bitmaps.   (note: builds flashpro 5.5, flashpro 6.0 , flashbuilder 4.6 / air3.1 ios (32 bit) of the same code show consistent , proper results instead)   2. application runs slower when exported release flashbuilder 4.6.   is there way deal these problems? i struggling trying determine name/concept of trying do: is possible create sequence (or other object) can define properties/filters can replace media different media file?   for example, have many photographs can process same size (dimensions). if define sequence animate 50 images, defining movement, scale (zoom), etc., can change out 50 image files set? can create moving/animated image sequences.   it seems should possible. searches not yeilding results.   thanks help you can make happen yourself.   picture this. have directory 50 images used in premiere pro project.you planned ahead names of files a0001 though a00050. (other wise have find 50 files instead of finding 1 , letting software rest.   once done project, move directory or rename it. don't want premiere pro find before.   take copy of project file , put new directory structure. want happen when open program, premiere pro can't find media, when tell files in particular directory, find 50 pictures names a0001 though

hi folks, trying use truecrypt backup. files backed under directory /media/bigdisk/backupdata. there directory tree structure under directory. goal create many truecrypt volumes required dynamically fit these files - 2gb per volume max. ideally speaking use tar or similar can maintain directory hierarchy in truecrypt volume , original hierarchy in case if have restore these files. these truecrypt volumes backed on remote site. goal compute file list backup directory until gets closer 2gb, make tar file of these files , copy new crypt volume. continue until files copied. doable in shell script? don't have experience of shell scripting, based on whatever have read far, seems doable. if not, can right java code more comfortable in java. if it's possible in shell script, pointers started appreciated. in advance. bump, 1 please? there font labels not  appear in adobe  acrobat , appear in reader " appear as  boxes" , need work acrobat  can body i don't know if on mac or pc.   so need locate font cache file acrobat (make sure acrobat quit) , remove trash/wastebasket. and empty. open acrobat , font cache file should rebuild.  if on mac simpliest way use utility called fontnuke , have remove font caches. font cahces corrupt  in constant use.  mayb windows machines have similar font nuke. in joomla 2.5, when ran search, if went article appeared in search results , didn't have menu item associated or category itemid on page missing/set 0. in joomla 3.3, when run search, if go article appeared in search results doesn't have menu item associated or category itemid set default menu item/home page. while in theory think 3.3 way of handling better, causes issues. home page, @ least on our sites, custom pages. instead of getting sort of "default" set of modules, etc, user gets page looks home page has content of article search. i'm hoping find out others do, , make sure best practices correct. the solution have make sure every category has menu item associated it, if isn't in visible menu, , way itemid menu items applied each article. i think ideal if possible set default itemid/menu item other home page applied pages otherwise don't have menu item associated with. that last part simple do. add component setting , edit router use it. see mod_fi
