Manage video memory with GPU rendering


hello,

wondering if there direct way manage/delte stored textures on gpu in current version of air mobile.

of now, if game runs out of gpu memory, framerate dives unrecoverable 10fps, , way restart app.

are there practices preventing this? air manage video memory based on bitmaps/movieclips visible , being drawn on stage @ time?
