hello, big problems update installation of joomla. i enabled ftp layer , can modify online configuration file without problem. i can update components without problems (jce example). but can't update joomla itself. for example deleting first file not changed (license.txt), created www-data user , not ftp user. my current version of joomla 3.3.6 on ubuntu 14.04 rights of folders , files: folders 750 utilisateur_ftp: www-data files 640 utilisateur_ftp: www-data i think in case, upgrade not use ftp layer www-data user. thanks viewtopic.php?f=621&t=582860 Board index Joomla! 3.x - Ask Support Questions Here Administration Joomla! 3.x

hi, did try search forum issue couldn`t find answer... use ubuntu 11.04 unity, , compiz configurations..it first time use linux , kind of it..so i`m noob, i` trying problem every time open application (especially gedit, thunderbird, , others don`t start in full screen) program`s windows starts in uper left corner...so have drag screen`s center because it`s easier use this, guess. it`s there way set programs start in center of screen or anywhere corners? think before activating things in compiz, programs starting centered...i guess (i can`t remember exactly). thank you. you can change "placement mode" in compiz' "place windows" plugin. therefore, install "compizconfig settings manager" if not done (package "compizconfig-settings-manager"). find plugin in section "window management". greetings. hi i have problem when looking @ administration. at home have 30" monitor, , isnt problem. but when trying laptop 12" monitor, half of screen covered banner. the bottom of administration page showing banner otherwise using on joomla site. is there option can deactivate it, there no point in beeing there except take place. check module manager. set list administrator modules (instead of site modules,) module might image. i'm having scaling issue in ps cs6. i'm on new macbookpro retina display , os x mountain lion.   what happens when open image thats 500x500 pixels , view @ 100% it's displaying @ around 300x300 scale. when view same image on web @ 100% (via safari, chrome, firefox) i'm seeing image @ correct size. why showing small in cs6. here excerpt adobe announcement   why images appear smaller on retina enabled mac after installing 13.1/13.0.2 update?     retina displays use higher pixel density normal monitor. individual display pixels approximately 1 half size of previous devices. while working in photoshop before installing 13.1/13.0.2 update, other non-retina optimized application, number of pixels used doubled give normal, non-miniaturized appearance. can cause applications blurred or pixilated. thus, when viewing images in photoshop, zoom level double whatever displayed. @ 100% zoom, image displayed every 1 image pixel shown 4 display pixels, same viewing image @ 200%. 1...

we need generate index indesign cs5.5. need use xml index entries pour indesign cs5.5. while importing xml indesign index entries automatically loaded index palette instead of appearing in layout.   this happened automatically when importing word doc xml. while importing word document index entries, index entries loaded index palette.   i want same feature in xml also. 1 me out on how markup index entries in xml take indesign.
