Thread: I need help for installing mysql


hi,

new ubuntu , linux. want use eclipse , mysql on ubuntu. whenever try install mysql face errors on terminal

in end if click on software center face dialog box, says 1 of package broken.. tried uninstall broken package(of course broken package mysql, says) , couldn't rid of that. result cannot use mysql cannot uninstall mysql.

installing root or sudo privileges?
