Thread: Has Docky "stacks" missed the point?

i have been using awn stacks, allows me drop used folders onto stack , open them in nautilus when need them.

switched pingyos has docky installed default. docky seems "ok" has fewer applets/helpers awn , has stopped gnome starting automatically.

(do:16372): wnck-critical **: wnck_set_client_type got called multiple times.

did track down "stacks" docky (experimental branch) , installed it.
feature not give me basic functionality wanted, i.e. able stack bunch of folders in 1 launcher. instead seems trying replace nautilus cooler looking ui, pointless , unnecessary in opinion.

person wants basic awn "stacks" feature in docky?

there new 1 there working on called "plank" written in vala it's pretty fast. problem it's starting. configure files, not gui yet, can folders.

anyways, use awn, if has feature want.
