Why InDesign so slow when I add an alternate layout?

i have 100 page indesign file 28 mb. edits fast , easy.

 

i needed alternate layout , once added file size went 33 mb. editing has become very slow. example, double-click 5 letter word, , type new 5 letter word takes 50 seconds new word appear (one character appears every 10 seconds!). during time pointer cursor goes away nothing else can done.

 

to confirm issue, when deleted alternate layout, file once again easy update edits appearing immediatly before.

 

there 62 linked , embedded graphics, screen shots. embedding slow things down? if so, why when alternate layout added?

 

i have tried editing using story editor , work faster not fast single layout in wysiwug mode.

 

i editing file locally on dell windows 7 laptop machine 4 gb memory. using indesign cs6.

 

any or suggestions appreciated.

this question has been couple of hours , viewed 50 people, no replies... mean should take adobe support?

 

i have searched forum listings , other websites , not found discussion around issue, must unique me?

2.5.28 to 3.4.1---Download of update package failed - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

went 2.3* whatever 2.5.28 same message.. had install via extension manager: install.. seemed work fine.. updated extensions , db.. tried run install again joomla! update module , download of update package failed message.. tried install extension manager: install. again , nothing.. don't seem have jommla_update.php file on server.. using godaddy plesk.. fun installed 3.4.1 on server using godaddy applications , worked fine.. i have seen server might out of space.. not issue here. permissions set correctly can tell. i new take easy on me.. any ideas? viewtopic.php?f=621&t=582860 Board index Joomla! 3.x - Ask Support Questions Here Migrating and Upgrading to Joomla! 3.x

Joomla! Update is not offering Joomla 3 - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi i trying upgrade joomla 2.5.27 3.6. have checked requirements (i've upgraded site), purged cache , gone short term support, when click save & close told (as before) have latest joomla version - not offer me joomla 3.6 (or else). have suggestions please? thank you c you can download joomla 3.x update , install manually using joomla's extension installer. don't forget create backup before doing that.
