Thread: 11.04 Software Update Issues


hello all!

running 11.04 classic on asus u36sd (ubuntu nviia drivers). software update stalling , receiving error:

not initialize package information

unresolvable problem occurred while initializing package information.

please report bug against 'update-manager' package , include following error message:

'e:type 'wget' not known on line 63 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list'

have thought experimental linux nvidia ion driver have installed, happy works dont want uninstall lol. ideas? thanks!

edit sources.list file , put # in front of these 2 lines @ bottom.
