Conceptual problem with Masters and text placeholders

i have been through countless tutorials , starting wonder if softare doesn't me appears key, basic, compulsory requirement! here go:

 

i want create training documents have different left , right pages, option add remove , shuffle pages depending on course on day, titles , graphics correctly aligned left or right page format.

 

so created masters left , right pages have both graphic elements , page numbers, text placeholders different positions depending if on left or right , different text alignments. masters use specific paragraph styles number of text boxes different depending if on left or right page.

 

this problems starts:

 

1) cannot seem able put empty, editable, text placeholders in master. result, have create text boxes inside master of course these not directly editable. of course can override master (command-****-click) , input appropriate text in newly 'liberated' text placeholder. problem that, move pages around, left/right specificity gets lost: override has killed link master

 

2) there seems similar problem graphic elements in body of page: if centered on left page , page becomes right page due insertion or moving pages around, graphic elements move around , horizontal alignment incorrect

 

3) finally, if insert blank pages there weird things happening, suc has master being reapplied pages , resulting in 2 layers of text boxes.

 

help!!! 

what describing normal behavior master pages , facing pages documents when force pages switch sides adding or removing odd number of pages.
