Thread: Can't activate WiMax adapter

i've been trying while , need done soon. problem there soft block on intel centrino advanced-n + wimax 6250 adapter , can't remove it. of examples i've seen have had acer-wmi driver conflict, have asus u52f , it's clean install (10.10). here's terminal outputs of system:

code:

code:

rfkill unblock all, unblock 1 , unblock wimax don't anything. tried block wireless lan , didn't work. figured worked same way under linux in win, can't have both on @ same time.

be? of appropriate drivers there. shows wmx0 in network manager. has me perplexed , frustrated. help, please.
what's result for:
code:
sudo ifconfig wmx0 up
do have dual boot win? if try login in in win , try toggled wireless off on. maybe firmware has rewritten accidentaly. can try unplug power cable 30sec , power on pc.
check post #10 in here http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1529993

if not work click on link-signature (networking) , download script. post here results file(as attachment). note : turn off wlan0 , wlan1 before running script, please:
code:
sudo ifconfig wlan0 down sudo ifconfig wlan1 down
to reset replace "up"
