Thread: Route related issues.

hi,

have strange issue routing table. topology is

host --- router --- internet

router has 2 nic cards .. 1 towards host has ip 192.168.0.1 , host has 192.168.0.2. eventhough not setting default route taking 192.168.0.1 default route

on router if check routing table set shown below

code:

# netstat -rn kernel ip routing table destination     gateway         genmask         flags   mss window  irtt iface 192.168.0.0     0.0.0.0         255.255.255.0   u         0 0          0 eth0 0.0.0.0         192.168.0.1     0.0.0.0         ug        0 0          0 eth0

that sounds stupid eth0 ip 192.168.0.1 , taking same default gateway .. reason why happening ?

i'm not sure see problem; looks normal me.
