Saving INDB files in CS6

i have spent whole day fixing small problems cs4 indb opened in cs6

 

1) can't save changes: had problem 1 word of text had slipped wrong side of text wrapped box. fixed problem , saved. when re-opened document (through book pallette) fix gone , problem back. happened not once 4 times!!

fianally seemed have solved problem re-nameing file , replacing indb file.

 

2) after working on file, when close of documents using save (not save as) i'm asked if want overwrite original file. never seen before in id, going on. though save automatically on wrote ixisting file of same name?

 

it simple... great.

when open legacy file id automatically convert new format, , ask save first time prevnet accidentally overwriting original (which hope have not done -- once overwritten can't cs4 version back).

 

i've seen other problems trying convert books -- spent weekend reconstructing 1 fine in cs5 , crashing in cs6. personal opinion should not try migrate book unless there need new feaures in new version, know isn't practical. next best thing, again in opinion, export cs4 files .inx, open each of in cs6, save new names (don't destroy cs4 versions), create brand new .indb file , add new .indd files it.

uppercase letters in url - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello all, i in process of migrating joomla 2.5 1.5. 1 of categories in 1.5 version had capital letters in name. in joomla 2.5, uppercase letters in article/menu/category alias automatically converted lowercase. i tried changing menu alias in database, caused 404 error in category-blog page. i have been trying many days find solution, reason being many of pages category in 1.5 site have lots of facebook likes don't want lose. does work-around exist allow me manually change category/menu alias category blog page , articles have category name uppercase letters? any appreciated. thanks! you can 301 redirect uppercase urls lowercase. hi i trying upgrade joomla 2.5.27 3.6. have checked requirements (i've upgraded site), purged cache , gone short term support, when click save & close told (as before) have latest joomla version - not offer me joomla 3.6 (or else). have suggestions please? thank you c you can download joomla 3.x update , install manually using joomla's extension installer. don't forget create backup before doing that.
