Thread: WebGL stopped working

webgl working few weeks ago in both chromium , firefox mysteriously broken in both.

"libgl" packages appear installed still. opengl must working since hardware accelerated desktop effects ok. following these tips typed "glxinfo" , found relevant version not less 2.0. in fact got this:

from above can see have geforce 9800 gt not excluded according this information. sure tried running chromium various permutations of switches "--enable-webgl", "--inprocess-webgl" , "-–ignore-gpu-blacklist" no effect.

using ubuntu 10.10 , thing can think of installing since webgl last worked wine. have tried removing , tried rebooting hardly ever have do! packages known conflict? more can try? please help.

firefox bit old updated , works serves prove it's possible. other browsers continue broken despite being up-to-date.

i'll make firefox now...
