Thread: Office 97 in Wine.

i use windows xp in virtual machine because of office. consistency between open office , opening same doc in word problem work. problem running office 2003 in wine is sluggish, hence virtual machine.

having tidy in garage today , found original office 97 small business edition cd , serial. don't ask me how acquired lol. there must 10 years cd's in there.

anyway thought give try in wine, installed , word , excel work brilliantly. not 1 glitch require. ok know office 97, need basic things happy. has annoying paper clip.

i got office 2003 working in wine well.

however, of work in lotus symphony.

2.5.28 to 3.4.1---Download of update package failed - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

went 2.3* whatever 2.5.28 same message.. had install via extension manager: install.. seemed work fine.. updated extensions , db.. tried run install again joomla! update module , download of update package failed message.. tried install extension manager: install. again , nothing.. don't seem have jommla_update.php file on server.. using godaddy plesk.. fun installed 3.4.1 on server using godaddy applications , worked fine.. i have seen server might out of space.. not issue here. permissions set correctly can tell. i new take easy on me.. any ideas? viewtopic.php?f=621&t=582860 Board index Joomla! 3.x - Ask Support Questions Here Migrating and Upgrading to Joomla! 3.x

hi i trying upgrade joomla 2.5.27 3.6. have checked requirements (i've upgraded site), purged cache , gone short term support, when click save & close told (as before) have latest joomla version - not offer me joomla 3.6 (or else). have suggestions please? thank you c you can download joomla 3.x update , install manually using joomla's extension installer. don't forget create backup before doing that.
