Thread: Shell Interpreter


hi!

got problem! starting learn shell , typed in description @ first line of script:

#!/bin/bash

well, in terminal , in directory script hello_world is!
saved hello_world.sh
now, when type

./hello_world

gives me error:

-su: ./hello_world: /bin/bash^m: defect interpreter: no such file or directory

ideas interpreter be?

this problem line endings.

don't know editor use, in linux editor should save option use unix line endings.

maybe works when type space after bash.
