Thread: Restore Windows Machine HDD using Ubuntu

hello,

fixing windows machine , desiring return machine complete factory state (aka restore). restoring machine new hdd of same size original.

admittedly, not ubuntu specific issue, using ubuntu tool.

have image of original drive , partitions using dd command.

not have original restoration discs hp pavilion.

first partition in image original restoration partition. there way image partition onto new drive , use partition restore?

appreciate tips, advice, or assistance people willing offer.
