Articles not showing in order in the main page (1.5 to 3.4) - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

not sure if it's derived migration or general joomla issue.

news articles showing in arbitrary order in main page, ignoring "most recent first" setting. have correct date in articles manager, , showed recent first. way show in page wrong.

also have issues adding module articles given category (not single 1 showed).

what can do?

story presentation ordering set in menu item individual page. each menu item has tabs can override duplicate settings set elsewhere (e.g. same settings found in article manager , in individual articles, menu manager overrides).

2.5.28 to 3.4.1---Download of update package failed - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

went 2.3* whatever 2.5.28 same message.. had install via extension manager: install.. seemed work fine.. updated extensions , db.. tried run install again joomla! update module , download of update package failed message.. tried install extension manager: install. again , nothing.. don't seem have jommla_update.php file on server.. using godaddy plesk.. fun installed 3.4.1 on server using godaddy applications , worked fine.. i have seen server might out of space.. not issue here. permissions set correctly can tell. i new take easy on me.. any ideas? viewtopic.php?f=621&t=582860 Board index Joomla! 3.x - Ask Support Questions Here Migrating and Upgrading to Joomla! 3.x

hi i trying upgrade joomla 2.5.27 3.6. have checked requirements (i've upgraded site), purged cache , gone short term support, when click save & close told (as before) have latest joomla version - not offer me joomla 3.6 (or else). have suggestions please? thank you c you can download joomla 3.x update , install manually using joomla's extension installer. don't forget create backup before doing that.
