Compatibility windows 7 and 8

hello,

 

i need advises adobe professional users

 

i have , old desktop have replace new 1 , have laptop.

specs of laptop :

acer aspire 5810tg

intel(r) core(tm) 2 duo cpu u9400 @ 1.40ghz/1.40ghz

4gb ram memory

32 bits

windows vista home premium sp2  (think oem version product id mentions : xxxx-oem-xxxxxxx-xxxxx)

 

the new desktop : intel core i7-3770. http://ark.intel.com/products/65719/ under windows 8 - 64 bits

 

i have adobe programs :  adobe web standard c4, photoshop cs5, adobe elements photoshop 7, adobe elements photoshop 8, adobe elements premiere 8.

 

i don't know if should upgrade laptop vista windows 7 or  not,  since here programs run smoothly. (i take programs viewing hd recordings during holidays).

 

question 1 : upgrade laptop or go new desktop.

 

question 2 :  mentioned adobe programs run under windows 7 , windows 8?

 

on internet working on both systems, have lot of problems , cannot run more.

ps. sorry fro long topic , sorry i  put other adobe software in it. did avoid repeating same message different forums.  if need so, let me know.

i'm not big fan of upgrading os until new hardware.  if laptop works vista, keep using vista.  desktop memory can afford.  although cs5 pre-dates win 8, think should ok it.

 

if move creative cloud or in future, need 64-bit processor run many of applications.
