Thread: cant find libraries, though installed

hello,
trying install amuc. source code available far know, downloaded source code , tried run
code:
./configure
it says:
code:
library x11 ... no library alsa ... no library xft ... no library cairo ... no library jack ... no libraries missing, exit.
i sure though have installed libraries.

appreciated.

if you're talking amsterdam music composer (http://members.chello.nl/w.boeke/amuc/), there debian package available download. can install (easier building source). you'll need make sure have following dependencies installed: libgcc1, libc6, libasound2, libcairo2, libjack0
(search them in software centre) or install them terminal window via:
code:
sudo apt-get install libgcc1 libc6 libasound2 libcairo2 libjack0
then can install application deb file double-clicking it, or terminal window via:
code:
sudo dpkg -i amuc_1.7-1_i386.deb
installing deb file easier building source, plus easier uninstall if needed (sudo dpkg -r amuc).
