Trouble Opening Lightroom

hi there,
i have lightroom 3 , when trying open it, gave me error message: "this beta version of lightroom has expired. application quit."  did try beta version of lightroom 4 while back, today first day have recieved message. can't access lightroom own.

 

anyone else have problem?

which operating system, please?

 

is lr 3 still on machine? (no reason why shouldn't be, let's rule out obvious).
