Canon C100 + HyperDeck Shuttle 2 + Adobe Workflow Question

hello everybody,

i purchased hyperdeck shuttle 2 pair canon c100. c100 outputs uncompressed footage thru hdmi. shot film , recorded uncompressed 10 bit 4:2:2 quicktime files thru shuttle. need best way edit/grade footage. searched on internet , found references dnxhd mxf file format or prores file format shuttle can do. nobody seems using/discussing uncompressed quicktime 10 bit 4:2:2 workflow.

restrictions: workflow has adobe + windows

the c100 sends 24p signal in 60i wrapper , result footage shows 29.97 fps.

1. removing pull down in adobe after effects?

what best way this? can go adobe ae , interpret footage. converting video 29.97 23.976. once step done:

a. need render , use rendered file further steps (edit/grade)? original file out of shuttle2 shows quicktime 10 bit uncompressed yuv 4:2:2, trillions of colors. need render same format or should render uncompressed avi (internet full of issues qt on windows). when try avi, offers millions of colors , not trillions of colors. there loss in quality? if render uncompressed avi file size same original. if render original format (quicktime 10 bit uncompressed yuv 4:2:2, trillions of colors) file size decreases 10% - 15% making me believe there sort of compression happening.

b. skip rendering , somehow send footage on premiere editing, speedgrade grading , output delivery? mean sticking same file format shuttle captured. not sure if can done.

2. removing pull down in adobe ppro?

is there way can remove pulldown in ppro without having go ae? see interpret footage option in ppro. after it, file properties still show 29.97 fps.

also, correct preset option in ppro? see blackmagic capture

any appreciated. reason why want stick least lossy format because have few shots underexposed , few have incorrect white balance :-)

you shot whole project without testing post work flow first?
