user IDs J3.4 vs J1.5 - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hallo,

i have old j1.5 website few contents thousands of registered users move freshly new j3.4 website.

the lowest id in j1.5 62, while in j3.4 on 400, problem if import old users data mantaining original ids?
i mean, there reason why j3 starts counting ids such high number, lower numbers reserved or something?
of course create new superadmin profile.

i preserve old ids because users data connected other contents photos , complete profiles stored community builder, changing ids mess links.

the high numbers used security measure, right or wrong. @ stage after joomla 1.5 decided give first user random id, make more difficult possible hackers guess id of super user. though if hacker has access database, site 0wn3d.

if able import users using extension adds them right user groups , not overwrite existing users in new site, might work. should first import both sets of users own tables in test schema , couple of queries joins see if there conflicts between 2 sets of ids.
