Why is Joomla always a pain to upgrade? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i've been using joomla since 2008, recall, , has been pain migrate 1 version another. site crashing, extensions getting lost, developers working on 2 different versions of same extensions , templates. when ritual going end, if going end?
you know, rather use joomla wordpress, wordpress has advantage, it's 95% harder crash site when upgrading old version.

makes me wonder why developers won't focus on making users lives easier on upgrading. worry safety, resources, user interface, script size, lot of things, never worry making stable on upgrading, or creating native extension can check against version of current extensions on upgrading. right i'm in documentation reading 4000+ characters text telling me should verify every single extension before upgrading.

seriously, don't want leave joomla, , can't, cause pain migrate platform, look, has been 1 week since started upgrading website , still keep finding surprises (got lot of extensions), having reconfigure data on few components, or seeing component's independent plugins (that can installed components) not working anymore , noticing days later.

i'm graduating @ international relations, have work, have dance hobbi, got social life (women, friends, etc). got i'm trying reach? online business isn't main income , still can't be, because safety , finances on web unstable.

not looking @ side, @ other people's side, guy married , got children, or who's got large online businesses in joomla, etc.

so great if easier upgrade joomla without having surprises later, @ least not days or months later. cause people got life.

am 1 here thinks that? butthurting much? please let me know i'm not alone, need know i'm not alone @ this.....

regards, frustrated, yet loyal, user.

it still bit painful upgrade/migrate 1 version of joomla another, not before. joomla 1.5 2.5 migration huge project, , many websites cheaper restart scratch migrate website.

however, have acknowledge updating/migrating better before, , i'm sure in future area in particular gain more focus.

meanwhile, if have problems migration, please post them here, , i'm sure many help!
