Entry Process Limit reached - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i have started hitting entry process limit on site. limit set host 20.

i told issue related rogue php script.

i don't write own php scripts don't have skills so. rely entirely on core joomla , extensions sourced joomla extensions directory. running joomla 3.4 , update extensions whenever update published.

can give advice on how track down might php script causing problem?

the tools @ disposal ones on cpanel on rochen host. know time entry process limit reached. doesn't happen every day, , doesn't happen @ same time on days there problem.

i know extensions have upgraded on past couple of weeks, suppose start reversing these out until stable site again. have full backups of site, taken weekly, there quite lot of new content added daily rather not go far if there quicker way of identifying problem php file.

any suggestions gratefully received. have found 2 similar requests on joomla forum neither of them got answer. i'll hope better luck query.

anything ajax, entry process. individual browser window loading page on site, 1 entry process. if page-load invokes ajax fires synchronously, 1 page-load can cause multiple entry processes. things ajax:

- on joomla administrator control panel loads after time (such notifications joomla updates , extension updates). note, extensions might add more of these icons here.
- button something, without reloading whole page, might ajax. examples: akeeba backup has 2 tools, excluding databases, , files/folders. exclusion buttons don't cause pageload - each must request entry point.
- similar form in front end, chronoforms set submit via ajax, or appointmentbookingpro set in ajax mode... doesn't take "custom programming" use joomla normally, @ play.

finally if there 21 or more people trying hit website @ same time -- maybe more 5-6 people if each page has likelihood of additional entry points -- that's not script gone wild. that's site's reach exceeding hosting capacity (very quickly... that's not many users).
