for past week have been working video content created in camtasia , exported out of camtasia studio avi files using camtasia codec (techsmith screen capture codec). import footage premiere pro cs5 combine other elements. had no problems until yesterday when i attempted import 18 minute long video created in camtasia . video exported fine , able play in full using windows media player, but when import premiere, video 2 minutes 38 seconds long (the first 2:38). have attempted re-export video out of camtasia studio , attempted re-import footage premiere several times now, result same. premiere import first 2:38.   i on pc running windows 7 , premiere pro cs5. not sure other info might helpful. insights appreciated. we lot of folks here techsmith problems.  thing can suggest not use it.  others may have more helpful suggestions. i can preview scan epson v700 photo scanner, chose boundaries scan, etc., when hit scan button, says "cannot complete import command there no scanner installed". how can commuynicate scanner, preview scan, , state scanner not installed? there twain plug-in in photoshop elements plug-in folder i can't speak photoshop elements per se can speak standard photoshop on mac , state on mac cannot see scanners adobe photoshop issue, not scanner-related driver issue.  since app on mac can in fact communicate scanner. hello, i'm pulling hair out. hope can shed light on this. under user manager -> options -> new user account activation set admin but, system behaves it's set self. 1. after user fill out registration form, see joomla admin page user has not been enabled nor activated. far, good. 2. user got email saying "your account created , must activated before can use it." , user must click @ link. at end of email, there line "after verification administrator notified activate account. you'll receive confirmation when it's done." 3. user clicks @ link in email mentioned in 2. 4. if go joomla admin page, user both enabled , activated. and, user can login site without admin's approval. in other words, site lets users in without admin's approval. ps. admin still got message via email saying "the user has verified email, , requests approve account." i don't know did create behavior. i'll grateful if can solve this. attached settings. ...

motion path blurring images.  table on top did not have motion path.  can see clear.  dosage , comments columns behind did have motion path applied.  can see same image blurry when motion path applied, not blurry if no movement applied.   thoughts?   i'm not sure why happening, may because motion path functionality converts image movieclip , sets quality of "photo" instead of "lossless". not can avoid unfortunately.   try inserting image .png file higher quality normally. alternative overlay image copy of image once animation has finished.     www.cpguru.com - adobe captivate widgets, tutorials, tips , tricks , more.. hey everyone. looking way able to, example, hold meta+alt, right click on window, , have window close. in kde (which use) there option in window behavior in system settings able use modifier actions (like move or minimize) use, it's limited , lets select few, , "close window" isn't option. i've looked in shortcuts , gestures, , though gestures confuse me somewhat, doesn't seem it's answer i'm looking for. used use compiz this, got tired of compiz vomiting on kde , requiring kill , start again (thereby mangling layout of windows across workspaces, etc) or requiring reboot. i'm trying without compiz, , kde indeed have pretty cool desktop effects. suppose assign shortcut xkill, doesn't close things nicely , give them chance point out unsaved changes, etc. welcome suggestions, whether use kde or other program. lot! bump please! doesn't seem hard thing accomplish. don...

i had installed natty narwhal on father-in-law's toshiba (new seagate (i know) hdd after hdd failure). after using vmware install xp on 1gb of ram he's decided use xp primary. i've tried install xp , installer cannot find hard drive after formatting hdd ntfs. can help? windows need primary partition formated ntfs boot flag or unallocated space can create 1 (and available primary partition). using cs4, used work, not connect ftp settings. using "test" says connected right away, try combinations of ftp setting , not connect. same pw , user work thru filezilla , older version dw. screen comes up.btw, works on other dw projects, hosted same company not one...it on different server... i went older computer dreamweaver mx, set identically, , connects ftp right away, no problems. other websites have dwcs4, no connection problem, jsut 1 site, 1 need work on. , connects thru filezilla...frustrated no end. also, on other computer, same website not connect thru dwcs4...sure use solution. hello there. i've made off air recordings using topfield pvr can transferred pc via usb , demuxed m2p or m2v. these demuixed files play out fine in windows media player. adobe encore imports files no problem. however in (not all) cases, insists files must transcoded, though plainly files aer dvd compliant. suspect might encore treats files have data breaks @ point (possibly because of weakness in transmission signal) non-compliant. i'm told other dcvd authoring software less fussy encore in respect , honest it's real pain. encore expensive software , expect cope these files without having re-compress. moreover, having upgraded 2.0 (i had 1.0.1 before) made dvd , there weird problems video (pal 720x576) "stuttering" backwards frame or so. not encoding problem because happened on 1 of files did not require trancsoding. has noticed on 2.0? never happened me on 1.01. thanks set top dvd recorders not recording files dvd compliant. prevent people recording mov...
