Thread: Networking Ubuntu computers

hello,

have been searching forums , on internet quite while now. trying connect computers through network router. each online , works. cannot see computers other computer. cannot connect through ffp, ssh, windows serv, or else.

have installed samba , gadmin-samba, have tried configure on both computers.

both computers running ubuntu 11.04 , has updates.

not know or how can solve problem.

able ping computers , responds, have done trace route. trace route reaches takes 1.xxx-2.xxx ms return.

provided can solve problem.

ssh remote machine needs running sshd or ssh server daemon.

right click on folder , choose sharing options, install service. on other machine in natutilus type ip address of machine share , voila !
