Can I run Illustrator CS6 without Java? (OS X)

how can run illustrator without java? there java-dependent plugin can turn off, resource can delete, or way coax performing function bought perform?

 

(i not installing java on machines. wish adobe had told me software bought reliant on obsolete middleware.)

for else experiencing problem, i've managed illustrator working without java, though may in compromised state. i've narrowed down problematic component inside:

 

adobe illustrator cs6 > plug-ins > illustrator formats

 

illustrator launch without folder, alerts missing resources, of course. however, if start adding items folder, it's possible illustrator running without java calls or alerts missing resources.

 

i haven't figured out of files yet. know is, i'm running illustrator, , don't have java installed.

 

ymmv, it's possible.

2.5.28 to 3.4.1---Download of update package failed - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

went 2.3* whatever 2.5.28 same message.. had install via extension manager: install.. seemed work fine.. updated extensions , db.. tried run install again joomla! update module , download of update package failed message.. tried install extension manager: install. again , nothing.. don't seem have jommla_update.php file on server.. using godaddy plesk.. fun installed 3.4.1 on server using godaddy applications , worked fine.. i have seen server might out of space.. not issue here. permissions set correctly can tell. i new take easy on me.. any ideas? viewtopic.php?f=621&t=582860 Board index Joomla! 3.x - Ask Support Questions Here Migrating and Upgrading to Joomla! 3.x

uppercase letters in url - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello all, i in process of migrating joomla 2.5 1.5. 1 of categories in 1.5 version had capital letters in name. in joomla 2.5, uppercase letters in article/menu/category alias automatically converted lowercase. i tried changing menu alias in database, caused 404 error in category-blog page. i have been trying many days find solution, reason being many of pages category in 1.5 site have lots of facebook likes don't want lose. does work-around exist allow me manually change category/menu alias category blog page , articles have category name uppercase letters? any appreciated. thanks! you can 301 redirect uppercase urls lowercase.
