hey guys,
wondering going on inside computer.
sitting there desktop showing, of sudden can hear hard drive working away.
got me thinking virus, or malware or that.
system monitor shows nothing abnormal on cpu usage busy light on front on not.
there program tells me happening there.

hdd spin , down various reasons. perhaps file system journalling, or service running in background cron job etc. thousand reasons, none of them virus

linux not suffer viruses, or @ least there no current ones in wild designed linux, malware in general possible depending on , how it.
