Thread: Laptop temperature

hi,
after trying many distros found stable distro user-friendly (ubuntu), came across problem temperatures. seem high:
harddisc: /dev/sda: wdc wd3200bevt-22zct0: 57°c
other:
acpitz-virtual-0
adapter: virtual device
temp1: +57.0°c (crit = +95.0°c)
temp2: +52.0°c (crit = +95.0°c)
k10temp-pci-00c3
adapter: pci adapter
temp1: +61.0°c (high = +70.0°c)
acpitz-virtual-0 looks ok. k10temp-pci-00c3 gets 69. (70 marked high)
temperatures when browsing web. when play games, hddtemp reaches 60. know 1 temp of gfx card (if listed here), because names says nothing me.
laptop info: packardbell easynote tj 71, amd athlon x2 m300, gfx card ati (not sure type because dont know how find hw comp. names in ubuntu)
note: on linux mint got lower temperatures kernel overheating fix, dont know if works ubuntu.

the mint fix using 'pcie_aspm=force' on boot line. add grub_cmdline_linux string in /etc/default/grub , run:
code:
sudo update-grub2
ati (not sure type)
code:
lspci
