Cannot open pdf after installing Acrobat Reader XI

installed recommended update.  attempts open pdf produce message file "could not opened because associated helper application not exist.  change association in preferences."  mean?  running windows xp.  havve exhausted acrobat help.

does happen local or online pdf files?

 

if online, browser using?

CS6でファイルが開けません

Scrollability in divs or text boxes
