moving Joomla 3.3.6 to a different subdomain. - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
hello friends...
i've installed joomla (latest version) , mosets tree in out of way folder while got familiar it. need move sub directory easier find , seo. installed akeeba , backed site , downloaded archive.
my problem nervousness in doing first time. should uninstall joomla present location , restore new location or there better way?
also need know mysql database. used softaculous cpanel install basic joomla. if remove same program i'm pretty sure kill database too.
so surmise:
i'd give me quick , dirty run down on how restore joomla 'www.myowndomain.com/joomla' http://joomla.myowndomain.com. had realized install it, i'd have given location more consideration. in advance help.

if have backup file, can install in subdomain. use akeeba , can move source code , database.
