Cannot activate old version of Captivate

hello,

 

  have old version of captivate (v1) - rebuilt pc , need re-install - have downloaded software "my adobe" , installed - unable activate software...

 

  when trying activate online told have no internet connection - do, that's how downloaded - looks tries activate via macromedia.com, directed www-mm.wip4.adobe.com activate-mm.wip4.adobe.com , fails.

 

  when trying activate via telephone number - number provided lloyds tsb bank - 0800 068 9205

 

  when using adobe phone activation number - 0800 3284536 - have enter serial *number* serial "number" starts "cad" - entering number doesn't work either.

 

  adboe offices closed @ moment can't speak either.

 

  has else experienced this, , know how work around it?

i think need contact adobe technical support. adobe captivate 1 old activation servers doesn't exit anymore. read adobe has taken down activation server adobe cs2 applications , not old captivate 1.

2.5.28 to 3.4.1---Download of update package failed - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

went 2.3* whatever 2.5.28 same message.. had install via extension manager: install.. seemed work fine.. updated extensions , db.. tried run install again joomla! update module , download of update package failed message.. tried install extension manager: install. again , nothing.. don't seem have jommla_update.php file on server.. using godaddy plesk.. fun installed 3.4.1 on server using godaddy applications , worked fine.. i have seen server might out of space.. not issue here. permissions set correctly can tell. i new take easy on me.. any ideas? viewtopic.php?f=621&t=582860 Board index Joomla! 3.x - Ask Support Questions Here Migrating and Upgrading to Joomla! 3.x

uppercase letters in url - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello all, i in process of migrating joomla 2.5 1.5. 1 of categories in 1.5 version had capital letters in name. in joomla 2.5, uppercase letters in article/menu/category alias automatically converted lowercase. i tried changing menu alias in database, caused 404 error in category-blog page. i have been trying many days find solution, reason being many of pages category in 1.5 site have lots of facebook likes don't want lose. does work-around exist allow me manually change category/menu alias category blog page , articles have category name uppercase letters? any appreciated. thanks! you can 301 redirect uppercase urls lowercase.
