Thread: Xubuntu 11.04 sound problems..

hello all... did fresh install of xubuntu 11.04 , sound not working. have not had problem on other of ubuntu installations. checked sound settings make sure correct device selected , wasn't muted etc... there may not have installed? driving me nuts useful.

please run following command in terminal

code:

alsamixer

that load cli based audio management type screen, in top left corner tells key press options, think f5. after doing ensure sliders @ 100%
