Indesign CS5 crashing on launch if another CS5 app is open

this seems affecting entire cs5 suite installed on windows xp computer.

 

if 1 cs5 app open eg. indesign, when trying open eg. illustrator, app crashes memory write error.

 

it happens combination of cs5 app: indesign + photoshop, photoshop + dreamweaver etc

 

the stack trace indesign , illustrator reference similar items: dvaui__drawbot__ossurfaceinterface__getoutputgraphics , gdiplus. but photoshop references gdiplus amongst others. i've pasted them below.

cs5 has been re-installed.

 

i'm asuming it's graphics issue, maybe card itself, or driver - although it's latest driver works on other systems. maybe font issue? although exact same fonts used on computer no issues.

it graphics-related. don't have grand ideas.

 

cs5 , xp long in tooth, too, makes sort of thing hard debug.

are running latest cs5 update, 7.0.4.553?

 

have tried backing out not-latest graphics card driver?

what card , driver , version? did vendor or microsoft?

 

have tried new user account on system?
