URL Redirect from QRCode - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i want track qrcode hits various marketing materials (flyer, book, etc.) want have series of urls such book-qrcode or flyer-qrcode.

once user scans qrcode marketing material , taken url in code want a) track hit , b) redirect user home page.

i tried creating menu called redirects, creating menu alias called book-qrcode still 404 , not sure how tracked anyways.

how can best accomplish task?

one possible solution use built-in redirect component. should not create menu item. use redirect manager create redirect each link.

the number of hits on each link tracked.
