Feature Request: Consistently Intelligent Font Lists across all CS Program

current problems/inconsistencies in font lists + suggested solutions:

 

number of fonts simultaneously displayed:

premiere pro (pp): 16 (too few!)

ae: 19 (too few!)

photoshop: 40 (adequate)

illustrator: auto-maximizing (displays many fonts screen supports, 50 on 1920x1080 monitor)

*solution: make font lists auto-maximizing illustrator!

 

font previews:

pp: yes (6 user-defined characters previewed next font names)

ae: no previews

photoshop: yes ('sample' displayed in each font, small comfortable viewing)

illustrator: yes (each font name displayed in actual font, makes inconvenient know name of 'dingbat' fonts.)

*solution: make font lists display font names in left column, 'sample' displayed in actual fonts right.  when users select text, replace 'sample' first 1-30 selected characters instant previewing in available fonts (e.g. selecting '&' character display '&' in available fonts instant comparison). make font lists resizable horizontal zoom bar @ top of list ensure comfortable viewing everyone.

 

scroll bar:

pp & ae: yes

photoshop: yes (perfect size , color scheme best visibility)

illustrator: no (current scrolling method frustratingly slow!)

*solution: add photoshop style scroll bar each font list best visibility/usability.

 

font selecting arrow keys:

pp & ae: yes, arrow-keying up/down in both font fields , font lists

photoshop & illustrator: font fields. highlighting fonts arrow keys in font lists doesn't result in font visualizing.

*solution: allow previewing of fonts arrow-keying up/down in font fields , font lists in cs programs.  emphasize 'previewing' instead of 'selecting', since previewing fonts avoids problem of unnecessary undos being created each font visualized arrow keys. (note: arrow-scrolling through font field in photoshop's options bar works suggest, 'previewing' each font without creating unnecessary undos.  unfortunately, arrow-scrolling through font field in photoshop's character panel create useless "set character style" history states every visualized font.  kind of inconsistency within single program crazy!)

 

 

conclusion:

cs programs part of same family, , should therefore behave such consistently intelligent tools.  includes font lists consistently intelligent design.

2.5.28 to 3.4.1---Download of update package failed - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

went 2.3* whatever 2.5.28 same message.. had install via extension manager: install.. seemed work fine.. updated extensions , db.. tried run install again joomla! update module , download of update package failed message.. tried install extension manager: install. again , nothing.. don't seem have jommla_update.php file on server.. using godaddy plesk.. fun installed 3.4.1 on server using godaddy applications , worked fine.. i have seen server might out of space.. not issue here. permissions set correctly can tell. i new take easy on me.. any ideas? viewtopic.php?f=621&t=582860 Board index Joomla! 3.x - Ask Support Questions Here Migrating and Upgrading to Joomla! 3.x

hi all, searched , saw nothing related it. did quickinstall of joomla 3.3.6. when goto site location in browser error in subject. server specs below. wrong in assuming should ok , if know of fix. php: 5.4.32 could double check php version? create (eg phpinfo.php) file on server containing code: select all <?php phpinfo(); and open file in browser (via eg www.example.com/phpinfo.php ) ? for safety reasons remove file server after double checking.
