Thread: Ralink 5390 wifi card in Ubuntu 10.04

i installed ubuntu 10.04.03 on hp pavilion g6, works fine except wireless networking not show in network menu. have read here , on other forums common problem "simple" solution.

have seen couple of solutions listed below.

able find driver off ralink website , unpack far got. not new ubuntu has "just worked" me , have never had open terminal before today.

made step 5 , got confused. not sure how "make" , "make install" commands work, , less sure using them.

if give me pointers appreciate it. or if wanted volunteer show me how via remote desktop sometime weekend(assuming figure out) more wonderful.

need hit hay because have wake work in couple of hours. sure check here before leave afternoon , maybe few times @ work.

2.5.28 to 3.4.1---Download of update package failed - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

went 2.3* whatever 2.5.28 same message.. had install via extension manager: install.. seemed work fine.. updated extensions , db.. tried run install again joomla! update module , download of update package failed message.. tried install extension manager: install. again , nothing.. don't seem have jommla_update.php file on server.. using godaddy plesk.. fun installed 3.4.1 on server using godaddy applications , worked fine.. i have seen server might out of space.. not issue here. permissions set correctly can tell. i new take easy on me.. any ideas? viewtopic.php?f=621&t=582860 Board index Joomla! 3.x - Ask Support Questions Here Migrating and Upgrading to Joomla! 3.x

hi all, searched , saw nothing related it. did quickinstall of joomla 3.3.6. when goto site location in browser error in subject. server specs below. wrong in assuming should ok , if know of fix. php: 5.4.32 could double check php version? create (eg phpinfo.php) file on server containing code: select all <?php phpinfo(); and open file in browser (via eg www.example.com/phpinfo.php ) ? for safety reasons remove file server after double checking.
