Best security practices using nginx - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
the security faq has quite bit of information regards apache. however, being new this, it's not entirely clear me part of applies nginx, or nginx variant of same functionality is. maybe there additional nginx+joomla-specific tips?
for instance, what's best way ensure sensitive information in configuration.php protected?
and more generally, directories should writable, , sufficient readable? directories can move out of public_html altogether? (i know administrator directory can't moved, while temp , logs directories can, others?)

i believe using vps nginx, don't have worry security of configuration.php file because people have no view content plain text of it.
