Thread: 11.04 faded screen from bootable USB (2nd try)

hi all,

used usb installer program version 1.8.6.3 pendrivelinux.com install 11.04 iso onto 4gb usb drive. put acer aspire 5732z. took me ubuntu choice screen , selected "run drive" (i can't remember exact wording.) see lot of linux commands flash by. hear ubuntu opening sound. faintly see window. it's faint can't make out says. hit "increase brightness" buttons on keyboard no change. have hard power off. tried different usb stick exact same problem.

ideas how fix this? how screen normal brightness? 1 else have kind of problem? 11.04 not work video drivers on acer aspire 5732z? thanks,

try on different puter , see happens.

2.5.28 to 3.4.1---Download of update package failed - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

went 2.3* whatever 2.5.28 same message.. had install via extension manager: install.. seemed work fine.. updated extensions , db.. tried run install again joomla! update module , download of update package failed message.. tried install extension manager: install. again , nothing.. don't seem have jommla_update.php file on server.. using godaddy plesk.. fun installed 3.4.1 on server using godaddy applications , worked fine.. i have seen server might out of space.. not issue here. permissions set correctly can tell. i new take easy on me.. any ideas? viewtopic.php?f=621&t=582860 Board index Joomla! 3.x - Ask Support Questions Here Migrating and Upgrading to Joomla! 3.x

hi all, searched , saw nothing related it. did quickinstall of joomla 3.3.6. when goto site location in browser error in subject. server specs below. wrong in assuming should ok , if know of fix. php: 5.4.32 could double check php version? create (eg phpinfo.php) file on server containing code: select all <?php phpinfo(); and open file in browser (via eg www.example.com/phpinfo.php ) ? for safety reasons remove file server after double checking.
