After Effects CS6 render error - grey artifacts

hi there,

 

i wondering if me? rendering out video in after effects using h.264 codec, high 5.0 profile @ cbr 5 , 25fps. however, on occassions , videos, not one, when video renders, many frames appear grey (see below);

 

 

i have tried rendering out @ various levels of quality, both cbr , vbr, , using adobe encoder also, , problem still persists. not in same place , appears randomly. wondering if else had come across problem , had solution?

 

i have re-sintalled adboe suite on several occasion try , counteract this, again, problem presists.

 

any appreciated!

it appears viewing footage in quicktime x, in not particulalrly sensible. use "classic" quicktime 7 if it's okay there, file work. other source footage, media cache, whatever. cannot know. not providing half enough info, end guessing around. render codec , actual conversion in adobe media encoder.
