Permissions for Users in Admin - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i created following access set on joomla 3.3.6 per article:

user group: client
access level: special
permissions: deny except "access administration interface" , "edit" permissions "articles" , "users"

i want users in client group able view , edit own account information (name, username , password). however, not want clients able view or edit other users. issue allow "access administration interface" permission in user options, client able

1) view users (i don't want this)
2) edit own group assigned (this allows them upgrade administrator; don't want this)

please advise. if not possible default joomla, , there extension provides capability, i'd appreciate recommendation. thanks!

2.5.28 to 3.4.1---Download of update package failed - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

went 2.3* whatever 2.5.28 same message.. had install via extension manager: install.. seemed work fine.. updated extensions , db.. tried run install again joomla! update module , download of update package failed message.. tried install extension manager: install. again , nothing.. don't seem have jommla_update.php file on server.. using godaddy plesk.. fun installed 3.4.1 on server using godaddy applications , worked fine.. i have seen server might out of space.. not issue here. permissions set correctly can tell. i new take easy on me.. any ideas? viewtopic.php?f=621&t=582860 Board index Joomla! 3.x - Ask Support Questions Here Migrating and Upgrading to Joomla! 3.x

hi all, searched , saw nothing related it. did quickinstall of joomla 3.3.6. when goto site location in browser error in subject. server specs below. wrong in assuming should ok , if know of fix. php: 5.4.32 could double check php version? create (eg phpinfo.php) file on server containing code: select all <?php phpinfo(); and open file in browser (via eg www.example.com/phpinfo.php ) ? for safety reasons remove file server after double checking.
