10.10 meerkat crashing firefox 3.6.22. error message 84
hi all,

installed 10.10 on client's old 1gb ram dell 600m laptop. when client goes 10.10 , uses ff, crashes, going command line screen (looks dos screen) says "error message 84". ideas what's causing crash? how fix?

think client's ff has no-script add-on.

tried various searches "ubuntu error message 84" , didn't find useful. did find threads talking ff being unstable in ubuntu.

in meantime, suggested client install chrome browser (not chromium) see if that's more stable.

ideas? thanks!

i can't error seeing, firefox 3.6.22 rather unstable on xubuntu 10.10 on eeepc , macosx tiger on older white macbook. i'm experiencing long hangs , random crashes, particularly after computers wake sleep. i've not experience os crash though.

webpages ran fine cause firefox hang or run exceedingly slowly. have adblock plus installed, updated , couple of other add-ons.

however, besides version of firefox , of add-ons, both computers running different os's , versions of applications. suspect has gone wrong firefox update.

hi i trying upgrade joomla 2.5.27 3.6. have checked requirements (i've upgraded site), purged cache , gone short term support, when click save & close told (as before) have latest joomla version - not offer me joomla 3.6 (or else). have suggestions please? thank you c you can download joomla 3.x update , install manually using joomla's extension installer. don't forget create backup before doing that.
